Let me share my story of working with opencart
Three years back (during 2015) one of my friend asked me can you fix some issues on some e-commerce site (its In PHP)? As I had very good experience in php. I was very positive and keened to solve the issue so I asked for the details of the issues from my friend. After getting the issue details I started exploring opencart for few hours and finally, I made my self much familiar with opencart.
I fixed the issues and made my friend happy. aafter wardI registered with opencart forum and started supporting the community. It was very good experience and kind of satisfaction of solving real time problems and to help the users/members. SometimesI also got very good support from forum members.
After few days I explored the marketplace link of the opencart . I have seen different types of number of extensions. Many extensions are available for free and rest are paid. Extension are also available according to version of the opencart.
I realized that its great to help opencart community by developing opencart extensions. So I have researched the forum and extensions and developed very useful opencart extensions. I have created the developer account and posted these opencart extensions at the extension section of the opencart site as well as at my blog in shop link.
after three or four months I realized that the opencart extensions were downloaded by a number of community users. The opencart extension and its download count details are as below (which encouraged me to develop other great opencart extensions).

- Extra Email Setting ( 84 downloads until now )
- Prev Next Orders  ( 39 downloads until now )
